Welcome to WUPR.org 3.0!

Hello fellow WUPR lovers!

It is with great joy and no small amount of sleep deprivation that we present to you WUPR.org 3.0! This new version is the culmination of a great deal of hard work by many fantastic people, and we are very proud to show what they’ve accomplished. Besides the pretty new aesthetics, version 3.0 has quite a few new features our dear readers. Here’s a brief overview of some of the new features.

Community Tools

At WUPR, we always wonder what our readers our thinking, and at long last we’ve finally got ways for you to share it! Now, you can comment on any article and discuss the political issues of our day. (Though do please be civil about it.)

What’s more, we’re expanding our social media sphere as well. In addition to our growing Facebook  and Twitter presence, we are also please to announce the start of WUPRnow, a new way for you to stay up to date on the best political links from around the web and share your own. Simply tweet your favorite political links with the hashtag #WUPRnow to join in the discussion.

Subscriptions

Staying informed on politics has never been easier, thanks to the new ease of WUPR subscriptions. Now, you can sign up to receive beautiful, full-glossy copies of The Washington University Political Review right in your home mailbox, even if you aren’t at WashU! We’re very happy to provide this offering to our supporters beyond the WashU campus community. For a low price, you can get insightful political analysis on your doorstep three to four times a semester. Click “Subscribe!” to place your order now.

Issues In Focus

On our front page, you can now find the “Issues In Focus” section. Here, our editors will focus in on the major themes of the present and share the best of WUPR’s writing on the topic, from past and present. Check back often, as we’ll select new issues regularly.

New Columns

WUPR.org welcomes our newest columnists: Tripp Brockway, Siddharth Ravishankar, and Gabe Rubin. Mr. Brockway and Mr. Rubin have already published multiple installments of their columns, “Let’s Do Better” and “The Lonely Superpower” respectively, and Mr. Ravishankar has taken over “The 360” for Siddharth Krishnan. Look for new content from these great writers regularly.

On the Horizon

Over coming weeks, we will continue to roll out a number of new features to make the WUPR.org experience even better. Keep an eye out for more integration with WUPR’s political talk radio show WUPRadio, as well as shared content from our partner publications in the Alliance of Collegiate Editors.

Many thanks to everyone who helped made this possible, and you, the WUPR readers, who inspire us to do what we do and make it better every day. Thank you for everything, and enjoy!

-The WUPR Staff
